4.1. Installing into Rack¶
To install the appliance into a rack, you need to attach outer rails to the rack, fix inner rails to the appliance, then slide the appliance into the rack. Read the section for detailed instructions.
Fully extend a rail assembly, which consists of inner, middle, and outer rails.

Slide the front release latch to unlock the inner rail and remove the inner rail.

Release the detent and slide the middle rail inward completely.

(Optional) Remove the metal spacer for aluminum racks (UNCLEAR: REMOVE IF RACK IS ALUM. OR REMOVE IF RACK IS METAL (BECAUSE THE SPACER IS FOR ALUM. RACKS)).

Fasten the front bracket to the rack with two M6x10mm screws at a desired position.

Important
Installing the appliance(s) starting from the bottom of the rack to keep it stable.
Fasten the back bracket to the rack with two M6x10mm screws (ARE THESE PROVIDED?) at the corresponding position on rack’s opposite side.
Position the middle/outer rail assembly inside the rack and align its front end with the front bracket.

Press the rail assembly’s front end against the front bracket. Then push it to rack’s side to hitch the assembly on the front bracket.

Fasten the front end of the rail assembly with an M6x10mm screw to the front bracket.
Secure the rail assembly’s back end to the back bracket like described in the three previous steps.

Repeat the steps above to install the second middle/outer rail assembly into the rack.
Fasten the inner rails to side of the appliance with provided screws.

Slide the appliance into the rack so that inner rails fit and lock in the middle rails.
