vstorage-monitoring-agent - vStorage Monitoring Agent — discovery, registration, and OTel Collector lifecycle
- Description:
The vStorage Monitoring Agent is a Rust daemon installed on VHI management nodes. It
discovers local cluster identity via the vstorage CLI, registers the cluster
with the VHP Monitoring Service Source Directory, manages the OAuth credential
lifecycle, writes the OTel Collector environment file, and gates the collector's
systemd lifecycle on the vstorage-ui-backend service health.
