6.2. Upgrading from OpenVZ Based on Kernel 3.10 to Virtuozzo 7¶

To upgrade a server from OpenVZ based on kernel 3.10 to Virtuozzo 7:

1. Run the upgrade script:

   # do-upgrade-vz7 --key <VZ7_product_key>
   

   In the process, the commercial Virtuozzo 7 packages will be downloaded and installed on your server.

   Note

   To skip license installation, use --skip-license instead of --key <VZ7_product_key>. In this case, you will need to install a license later with the vzlicload tool.

2. Reboot the server.
